6th Wedding Anniversary!

Sunday, June 29th was Drew and I's 6th wedding anniversary! We spent it at Drew's summer work party at Burdette Park in Evansville. We had a fun time! Keelin play mini-golf for the first time and had a ball! We went up to the swimming area and walked around, but decided not to swim. We headed back to the food! We had a delicious meal. Keelin received a gift card to Walmart during the kids prizes and Drew also won a Walmart gift card during the adult prizes! What a day!!! And guess what...I got to put the gift cards in my wallet because Drew doesn't like Walmart!!

Leaving the playground area.

Keelin loves to slide!

Keelin playing mini-golf

She liked to play by picking up the ball and dropping it in the hole.
Now wouldn't that make golf a little easier!!

I thought this was so cute!

A Good Time at the Good Shepherd Social

We took Keelin to the Good Shepherd Social last night! She rode the carousel for the first time! She loved it! Drew took her on it first and she threw a fit when he took her off the horse, so we bought her another ticket and I took a ride with her!

A Busy Weekend!

This is the only picture I took this weekend! Keelin is trying to climb at the Otters baseball game.

We had a fun filled weekend! Beginning Thursday night, we went to the Evansville Otters baseball game with Keelin. We had to leave after the 3rd inning because it was past her bedtime and she was beginning to show it at the game. Friday night, Drew worked the backroom at Hornville as the bartender. This was his first time working at the tavern and had a great time. Saturday, we ran in the Laufenfest 5k in Haubstadt. I had a personal best 5k time! yeah! See our official standings! Drew placed 162nd and I placed 206th. We are not "Kenyans" but we like a good, fun run! Sunday we went out shopping and bought a few new toys! (Today we did our part in putting money back into the economy!) We bought a Garmin GPS for my car...hopefully I will no longer get lost! Well, at least I don't have an excuse anymore. We also bought a bike trailer for Keelin. We went out biking this evening and she loved the trailer! We are two for two! She likes the jogging stroller and now the bike trailer. I will have to get a picture of her in it. I didn't have my camera with me today :(

We are keeping busy this summer! (it is now officially summer!!!!!)

Spending Time with Hannah

Keelin spent Friday evening with her friend Hannah while Drew and I celebrated our sister-in-laws 30th birthday. My friend, Jamie, took on watching our little monster. She had a ton of fun! She was passed out on the couch when I came to pick her up!

Our New Floors!!!

We had our new hard wood floor and carpet put in! It looks soooo much better and we love it! We also painted the walls in the hallway and livingroom a pinkish brown color.

Our new picture wall...it is much smaller than the last one!

Summer Days (Actually it is STILL Spring!)

Here are some pictures from the past month! Keelin has grown so fast and keeps us busy! We are spending these 90 degree days in the pool. Thankfully, Keelin loves the water and being outside!

Our little fence climber!

She loves being thrown in the air in the pool

Going under water... she doesn't enjoy so much...

The Girls Getaway to Seattle!

I returned home from my wonderful Seattle vacation! I went out to visit my good friend, Jamie, whom I went to Ball State with. Actually 4 of us (Trina, Heather, Courtney, and I) all went out to see Jamie, Seattle, and each other! We had such a wonderful time catching up (which doesn't take long with us!) Jamie is in Seattle for only 1 year doing a Dental residency. She is one of 8 interns. They are the "REAL" Gray's Anatomy! Jamie had to work for a day and half while we were there but with the sight seeing packet she made for us and Trina's iPhone, we were able to find our way around just fine! I took over 150 pictures (don't worry I didn't put them all on here!) It was nice to get away and hang with the girls! Enjoy the pics!

Thursday "Funk" Night

I was the only one with a child out in Seattle, so...
I was called "Mom on Vacation"
HB has the "M" and Trina the "V"

Ready to go out for Jamie's 28th birthday!

We went to live music at The Triple Door!
The band was great and the espresso martini's were energizing!
Our group of about 13 headed on to a Irish pub to continue celebrating
Jamie's birthday. It was a late night (and the 3rd night out in a row!)

Saturday we spent all day on the road traveling around the Olympic Peninsula.
We stopped at Ruby Beach and took too many pictures!

We climbed quite a few rocks!

We took too many jumping pictures! I don't have our group jumping pictures on my
camera, so I will have to add them later. This is me showing I still have some spring left
in my legs.

I still have some balance too! Being that we were all "past"gymnasts, we had
some fun pulling out some old skills.

The scenery was beautiful! (and I am not talking about us)
The rocky Pacific coast was breathe taking!

We stopped along Lake Crescent as we drove the northern part of the peninsula.

We went up to Hurricane Ridge to view the Olympic Mountains.
The deer were not skittish.

Handstand on the edge! (not really but it does look like it in the picture)

Trina and I on the ferry headed back to Seattle. The city at night was amazing!
The road trip took so long we had to take the 9:45pm ferry back.
We planned to get Sushi, but had to settle for pizza since it was so late.
We picked up pizza and visited the troll under the bridge.

I flew back to Evansville early the next morning. The trip was jam packed and
tons of fun! It was a vacation I desperately needed.
