Plants!

The girls have collected different plant seeds by visiting different library locations for the summer reading program.  We spent time planting them.  Right now they have visited 4 different library locations.

 

Holiday World

Keelin and I went on our 3rd annual trip to Holiday World with Hannah, Kyle, and Jamie Broeker.  It is always a fun day!  We spent almost the whole day in Splashin' Safari.

Welcome Home!

When I got home on Monday it had been raining all night and all morning.  The middle of the backyard was flooded.  It was up past the floor of the barn.  It also covered the entire sandbox.  Sand toys were floating around the yard. We had over 4 inches of rain!

 

Melissa's Gig

I finally got to see my cousin Todd's wife, Melissa, sing with her band "Isolated Incident".  I drove up to Alma, MI to stay with my Aunt Lyn and Uncle Larry at my cousin Tracey's house.  We went to the Water Lily at Soaring Eagle Casino.  She was so good!  and I am glad I finally got to see/hear them.  Todd sang, "Last Dance with Mary Jane" with her and the band.

Fun with Emmy

 

Since Keelin was at gymnastics camp all week, I got to spend a ton of time with Miss Em!

My mom and I took Emmy biking along the river trail in Lansing.  We biked for about 3 hours.  We stopped at the Lansing City Market for a snack and drink break.

Back at Hawk Island Park, we let Emmy play at the playground since she was riding in the trailer the whole time.

Emmy will be a caterpillar next year at preschool!

 

I took Emmy to Potter Park Zoo on Friday afternoon. 

 

Emmy really wanted to ride the pony and she did it all by herself!  I was so proud of her!

She wanted me to take her picture at every animal board in the zoo!

Yes... that tiger is very close! Emmy has little fear of animals.

Emmy and I rode a camel together!

And look... another caterpillar!

After the zoo, we went for ice cream!  I had the ice cream on the left and she had the ice cream on the right!

 

 

Emmy is obsessed with "Oz, the Great and Powerful".  She was so excited to see this hot air balloon in the air!  She said Oz was in it.  We drove to watch it land at the airport.

 

 

In the center of the mall there is bungee trampolines.  The girls loved them!

Twistars' Gymnastics Camp

Keelin went to Twistar's Recreational Gymnastics Camp all week.  She spent Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm each day! She really enjoyed it.  Emmy joined her for one afternoon of camp.

 Keelin is all ready for her first day of gymnastics camp.

 

 

 

On Wednesday afternoon, Emmy joined Keelin at gymnastics camp. 

 Keelin is giving Emmy a pep talk.
