Cincinnati

Saturday, May 1- Sunday, May 2
We spent the weekend in Cincinnati, OH because Drew ran the "Flying Pig Half-Marathon". It was a very rainy run!!!!!!!!

The rain stopped so we decided to walk the 2-miles down to the Race Expo on Saturday to pick up Drew's race packet.

We walked down to the kids race area. Since we drove to Cincinnati on Saturday morning, the girls were not able to participate in the kids events. It was too cute to watch the diaper dash on the News!!!

Drew got up and ran to the start line at 5:30am (that is 4:30 Evansville time!) The girls and I woke up at 6 and watched the start of the race on the News.

We got ready to go see Drew run!

We only had to walk a block to see him at mile 6.5.

It was raining!

but...thanks to the weather shield we bought when we got into Cincinnati the girls stayed nice and dry!

We also saw Drew run by at mile 11.

I got a text when Drew finished the race!

His official time was 1 hour 53 min.

Keelin was so proud of her daddy!

Despite the rain...it was a fun weekend together as a family!
