Gulf Shores Day 1

We traveled to Gulf Shores, Alabama for Thanksgiving break. We left Tuesday after work and stayed in Birmingham, AL Tuesday night. We stayed at Homewood Suites by Hilton which was very nice. They spoiled the girls with free gifts! (and the stay was free!!!) We woke up early on Wednesday and continued our trip. We arrived around noon. We ate lunch and headed right to the beach because the weather was beautiful.

Circus Day

Keelin's preschool had Circus Day on Friday!!! Thursday night Keelin wanted to dress up as a clown but I (being under the weather) didn't want to head out to buy fabric to make a clown outfit so Drew took Keelin to gymnastics class and I went through my scrap fabric drawer. I found tons of gold and brown fabric. A lion tamer! I sat down at my sewing machine for over an hour and produced a jumper, cape, and whip! Keelin loved it!

Baby Shower

Today, Keelin and I headed to Illinois for Clay and Jamie's baby shower. We picked up Keelin's Mamaw and the three of us made the trip together.

Keelin was not in a smiling mood :(

She was playing "shy" and would not give Aunt Jamie a hug!

Opening our gift...Clay opened the Ram's onesie...hee...hee! He is a Broncos Fan! I guess he is just going to have to wait until next week!

While Clay and Jamie were opening gifts, all Keelin wanted to do was sit on Clay's lap. I made her wait until they were done opening presents. As soon as they were done she was like a little magnet.

Next weekend we are having a baby shower for them in Evansville!!!
We can't wait to celebrate some more.

Keelin's First Gymnastics Class

We signed Keelin up for her first gymnastics class! She started on Thursday! She has class every Thursday until the middle of January! She loved it! Most of the kids in her class were there during the last session, but Keelin jumped right in and was able to follow the circuits pretty well.
I coached at Acros 6 years ago...(2004-2005). I can't believe I recognized some of the kids there.
