Boo at the Zoo

On Friday evening we took the girls to Boo at the Zoo. But the morning started with preschool and daycare. I dressed the girls in their new Halloween shirts from Old Navy.

Keelin (and her Rapunzel hair!) was singing to Emmy!

Keelin was (as she calls herself) a "married girl" a.k.a. a bride for Trick-or-Treating at the zoo. I made her this dress about a month ago for her to play dress up in.

Emmy was a black cat.

She was suppose to be a pirate with me...but since Keelin is obsessed with getting married right now...yes, she is 3!!!!!!!!! She had a different idea for her costume.

Keelin asked the clown at the zoo to paint strawberries on her cheeks!

13 Months...and WALKING!!!!

Emmy is 13 months old today! This morning as I thought about my baby being 13 months old...I thought...Geesh, she is still not walking! Well, Emmy had a different thought today! When I got her home from daycare I went back to her room and changed her diaper. I put her on the floor, standing up and she walked about 4 steps to Keelin. She seemed very stable! I put her down in the hallway and what-do-you-know...she walked all the way down the hallway.

Happy 13 Months, Emmy!

Bailey's Birthday Party

My friend Brandi's son, Bailey, had his 5th birthday party today. Keelin and Bailey both go to Gabriel's Garden. They are in different classes but they still find time during daycare to play together.

Keelin (pirate princess) and Hannah (cowgirl)

Bailey loves Thomas the Train. We got him the latest Thomas movie. Bailey said to Keelin when he opened his present, "Keelin, how did you know I wanted this?" and Keelin responded, "My mommy told me."

So...Brandi told me he wanted the movie, but we can give the kids the credit.

Evansville Half Marathon

Drew, Kate, and I ran the Evansville Half Marathon this morning! Drew and I both set PRs and this was Kate's first half marathon so she set a PR also! You can search our results HERE. ( type "sills" in the last name box and both Drew and I's results will come up) Drew finished in 1 hour 42 minutes. I finished in 1 hour 45 minutes. Kate finished in 1 hour 50 minutes.
