SNOW!

We had our first measurable snowfall on Sunday, December 12!  Keelin was so excited to go out and play in the snow!  Of course Emmy was in on the adventure!

Emmy kept falling over face first into the snow!  After about 5 minutes she was not having fun anymore and wanted to go inside!

St. Nicholas Day!

St. Nick visited Keelin and Emmy on December 6th.  He brought them new pjs and ornaments for the year 2010!

The Art of Photographing Kids!

Each year I want to get pictures of the girls for our Christmas cards. It is such a chore trying to get the PERFECT picture. I put the girls in their Christmas dresses and put them in front of Christmas tree. 20 minutes later. I have taken 20-30 pictures and not one of them is exactly what I was envisioning! Why is it so hard to get both kids looking at the camera and smiling naturally at the same time? Here is a collection of my efforts...I have many more.

I used 3 of these pictures for my cards. You will have to waiting and see which ones I used.

Keelin's Birthday Party

Today we had a birthday party for Keelin. We had it in her mamaw and papaw's basement.

Earlier this year, Keelin told her mamaw that she wanted a castle cake for her birthday. Mamaw found a bakery to make her a castle!!

Keelin has been celebrating her birthday for a whole week now!! And she is very thankful to all her family and friends for making her 4th birthday so special!

Keelin told me she wanted rainbow cupcakes with pink frosting and for them to say, Happy Birthday Keelin. I believe I was successful!

I had to put leggings and a long sleeved shirt under it!

After school she lined up all the presents she got in the mail. She had to be patient waiting for her dad and Emmy to get home before she could open them.

Emmy got a few presents too!

Keelin took a break from opening presents to listen to her mamaw sing happy birthday to her.
