Orange Lake and Disney

We spent a week at Orange Lake Resort.  I took over 450 pictures while we were in Florida!  I am only posting a few because I made a whole photo book about our trip.

My mom and I got the girls new princess dresses for the trip! (much cheaper than buying them at Disney!)  Emmy is all about "Tangled" right now, so we got her Rapunzel's dress.

Keelin loved the movie "Brave", so we got her Merida's dress!  Needless to say... they loved them and wore them often around the villa.

We taught Keelin how to play the card game "Up and Down the River"!  As you can see by the score card... she WON!

Sunday, July 15th:  Hollywood Studios!

Keelin loved "The Little Mermaid" the best!

We saw Mickey!  (This Mickey was MUCH nicer!)

Keelin met Jake!  Her favorite Disney Junior character.

Monday, July 16th: Magic Kingdom

The girls were so excited because they both got to meet their favorite princesses!

Emmy loved riding rides at Disney and she rode many of them too!

We stayed for the lights show on the castle and fireworks! so worth it!!!

Wednesday, July 18th:  Animal Kingdom (our 3rd and final Disney park)

Back at Orange Lake the pools were where we hung out when we were not at a Disney park.

Wednesday, July 11- Thursday July 12:  Savannah, GA

We went to Savannah on our way to Florida because we have never been there before.  It was a beautiful city!  Very different from any larger city I have ever been to.  The trees in the city were amazing with the Spanish moss.

 Day 1:  Walking the city to eat dinner.

 Day 2: We took a bus tour of Savannah before we left town.

The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist was amazing!

July 7/8 Weekend:  This summer we have had some record high HEAT.  Our new house doesn't have a pool!  So this is how we have been surviving the heat outside.

4th of July

Happy Independence Day!

I found these shirts on clearance at the Carter's outlet in Michigan and I made the skirts.  Talk about cheap outfits!

We spent the afternoon at Mamaw and Papaw's house.  We swam, ate, and swam some more!

I made a few festive treats for the cookout!

We went down to the river for the fireworks show!

The girls and I tie-died their shirts for the holiday!  i was pretty happy with how they turned out!

Emmy thought the fireworks were a little loud!  She kept saying, "Boom!"

Holiday World

On Tuesday, July 3rd Keelin and I went to Holiday World with Jamie, Hannah, and Kyle Broeker.

10 years!

Drew and I celebrated 10 years of marriage on June 29th!  Here we are 10 years ago on our honeymoon.

 And here we are today!

Drew surprised me with a trip to Louisville for the night! He packed for me!  We had a great time listening to live music (and watching gymnastics Olympic trials) down on 4th street.
