Pictures of Emmy

Today...(I am caught up!)
I have been wanting to get Emmy's 2-year pictures taken, but I haven't taken the time to set up anything so I thought I would take some pictures myself and see how they turned out.

Fall Festival

Sunday, October 2:  Fall Festival
We took the girls to ride kiddie rides at the Fall Festival.

                     Ashlyn enjoyed a ride too!

Emmy was big enough to ride several rides this year with her sister!

Keelin and Emmy riding the train.

Keelin ran into her good friend, Hannah!  They rode the cars together.

Emmy loved these cars!  She slid right into her sister as they zoomed around!

I went to the fall festival on Monday night after seeing the chiropractor. (His office was a 5 min. walk to Franklin Street!)  I couldn't drive 15 minutes back home without stopping for some food!  I got my favorite...white chicken chili from the Young Life booth!  I also picked up some puppy chow, a kuchen, and a pizzaburger for Drew.

Tuesday, Keelin went to the Fall Festival with her mamaw and papaw!  She rode rides, played games, and had some food.

Wednesday night, we went back to the Fall Festival as a family.

We rode the Ferris wheel as a family.  Emmy sat with her daddy and thought it was so cool!

                            The view of Franklin street.

The girls had pronto pups.  They both loved them!  I had chicken and dumplings.  Drew had a sausage burger.  I got sweet potato fries.  Keelin and Emmy shared dirt-n-worms.  We got another kuchen and some apple cider to take home.

Thursday evening I worked in the MEO booth from 4:30-11pm.  I worked with all teachers from our school.  We had a great time.  I worked the grill...again this year.  I helped clean the dishes at school afterwards and was home before 1am.  Good thing we didn't have school on Friday!

Babysitting our Niece, Ashlyn!

Saturday, October 1:  Babysitting!
We got to watch our niece, Ashlyn, for the first time so her parents' could go have dinner for their 5th wedding anniversary.  Keelin and Emmy were so excited to play with their cousin.

Emmy wanted to share her Sesame Street music with Ashlyn!

I believe Ashlyn was in shock for the first half hour. She would watch Keelin and Emmy play and it was like she was trying to figure out where she was.
                   "Where's my bean bag?"

Keelin loves her cousin!  Ashlyn is usually all smiles...that is when her parents are around.

                          Cousins!

After this picture I took Ashlyn to change her diaper and everything went south from the moment I laid her down on Emmy's changing table...she cried for the next hour.  Drew walked with her...I walked with her...Emmy cried because Ashlyn cried...then...she fell asleep on Drew's shoulder and slept there until Clay and Jamie came back.  It will get better as she gets older and she recognizes us.
