Keelin's Birthday Party

Today we had a birthday party for Keelin. We had it in her mamaw and papaw's basement.

The activity center.

My friend Abbie's son, Gavin, and Emmy enjoyed each others' company.

Earlier this year, Keelin told her mamaw that she wanted a castle cake for her birthday. Mamaw found a bakery to make her a castle!!
The first time Keelin saw her cake!
She loved it!

As you can see...she is all smiles!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday, Keelin!

Happy Birthday, Keelin! She is 4!!!!!!!!!

We made cupcakes for her preschool class!
Keelin told me she wanted rainbow cupcakes with pink frosting and for them to say, Happy Birthday Keelin. I believe I was successful!

Keelin wanted to wear a dress to school for her birthday.
I had to put leggings and a long sleeved shirt under it!

After school she lined up all the presents she got in the mail. She had to be patient waiting for her dad and Emmy to get home before she could open them.
Emmy got a few presents too!

Keelin took a break from opening presents to listen to her mamaw sing happy birthday to her.

Keelin loved her dress from Great Grandma Planck

Keelin ready to head to Chuck-E-Cheese for dinner!

Gulf Shores (Day 4) Race

Saturday:
Drew ran a half marathon this morning. It was a cold morning. I took Drew to the start and stayed with him for awhile so he could keep his warm clothes on. I went back to the condo to get Keelin and my mom. We went to mile 10 to see him run by. Drew did not know we were going to be there, so he was really surprised and excited to see us.

Drew gave Keelin a high-5 as he ran by at mile 10.

strong finish...

Drew crossing the finish line...a new PR!!!

Keelin giving her daddy his medal after his race.

Keelin wanted to go find sea shells for all her friends at preschool.

It was chilly down by the beach today.

We leave tomorrow :(

Gulf Shores (Day 3) Santa???

Black Friday: A rainy day
Mom and I went shopping Friday morning! After shopping, my mom and I took Keelin to see "Tangled". It was a great movie! We went to the theater at The Wharf because Santa was suppose to be there in the evening (according to The Wharf calendar of events online). Well...Santa was NOT there. Keelin was bummed so we took her to Build A Bear. This is the first time she has built a bear!

Keelin picked a pink bear.
We picked a bunny for Emmy.

Keelin cleaning her bear which she named, "Sally" and Emmy's bunny.

She picked a Christmas dress for Sally.

Keelin and Sally by the Christmas tree in the lobby of our condo.

We were all wearing Christmas outfits in hoping to see Santa.
Two new stuffed animals joined our family instead.
