Keelin's 1 Mile Race

Saturday, October 6th

Over the past few months Keelin has been completing a half marathon.  She has run 12- 1 miles runs with either Drew or myself.  Today was her final 1.1 mile to complete a half marathon.

I wish I would have taken a picture of her log before we turned it in at race pick-up.

 

Getting warmed up.  It was a cold day.

 All the 5/6 year old boys and girls

Now just the girls.  Keelin was in the last group of kids to start the race.

Here she is about 3/4 of a mile into her race.  She is running down Riverside in downtown Evansville.

Keelin is about to finish.

You can see Drew and Emmy cheering for Keelin to finish.

She was so proud that she ran the whole mile... "Look at my medal."
