Crystal Lake

 The girls love to take the foam paddle boards out on the lake.  The water is usually pretty cold, so this allows them to have lots of fun in the water without freezing!

There is always time to relax on the cabin's huge deck!

Sleeping Bear Dunes

 Sleeping Bear Dunes is a staple every year! The high dunes are so fun to climb and the view is spectacular!

 The dune climb was the girls favorite!  They ran up and rolled down!

We ate lunch in Glen Harbor at Boonedocks!

Crystal Lake Paddle Boarding

My Aunt Margaret and I rented paddle boards to take out on Crystal Lake.  We were out pretty far when it got windy and the water got choppy.  We had to work pretty hard to paddle back in!

We warmed up in the cabin with a family game of cards.

Empire Bluffs

We hiked up Empire Bluff to look out over Lake Michigan.  It was a cloudy, overcast day so the view was not great.

 Aunt Margaret and Emmy dipped their toes in Lake Michigan.  It was chilly!

Frankfort Lighthouse

 Our first night up north was spent going to dinner at Stormcloud Brewing Company in Frankfort.  We walked down to the Frankfort Lighthouse after dinner.

 Keelin put a pin in Colorado Springs because we are moving there.

Annunciation Summer Social

 Friends playdate!  Emma, Alli, and Nate came over to play!

 We took the girls to the summer social for the last time.  We were not going to be in town due to leaving for Michigan to go to Crystal Lake, but we decided to go a day late so we could all enjoy the Annunciation Summer Social!
