Seattle: Market, Harbor Cruise, Great Wheel, Aquarium

We walked from our hotel down to the Public Market.

Even Drew (the anti-coffee drinker) got something at Starbucks!
 Pike Place Fish Company

My mom and I by the "original" Pikes Place Starbucks.  We did not get our coffee here because the line was WAY too long.  We walked a block down the street and got coffee at another Starbucks.  I mean since there is only 53 Starbucks in a 5 mile radius in Seattle!!!!!
We went on a harbor cruise.  We saw great views of the city and Mt. Rainer!

We ate lunch at Ivar's.  We fed the seagulls our leftover French fries!  You hold one straight up in the air and a seagull will swoop down and take it right out of your hand! (See Drew below!)

We rode the Seattle Great Wheel and had more great views of the city and harbor.

We finished the day at the Seattle Aquarium.

Seattle: Race Day and Needle (again)

I ran the Rock n Roll Seattle Marathon on Saturday, June 21st.

My family got to see me at mile 1 and mile 25.

I finished the race in 3:50.  It was a PR by pace because the course was 26.57 in length.  I really liked the course.  It was very hilly in the second half but it was a clear day and it was cool.  Mt. Rainer was visible at quite a few points along the course.

With our City Pass we were able to go back up in the Space Needle a second time.  We went up there for the sunset.

 Mt. Rainer!

Seattle: Space Needle and Museums

We started the day at the Space Needle!

We also went to the EMP Museum. The girls liked the LEGO area.  There were a ton of iconic buildings made out of LEGOs.

The girls liked the "scream" room!  They got to scream really loud!
They also liked the music rooms!  They played different instruments.

We ate lunch at the Armory.

We went to the Pacific Science Center and saw an IMAX movie about lemurs.
