Decorating the House

So we decorated the house for Christmas BEFORE Thanksgiving!!!

Keelin wanted to wear her Christmas dress while we decorated the house. She danced around as we decorated!

We got the girls new Christmas ornaments this year. Keelin got a package of the 5 Disney Princesses. Emmy got a "Baby's First Christmas" ornament. They each got an ornament of their first initials "K" and "E".

Thanksgiving Week

We are so thankful for family!!! Drew and I are so blessed to have 2 beautiful girls!! This Thanksgiving weekend has been wonderful! The 4 of us get to spend 4 whole days together. We have decorated the house for Christmas! We have gone shopping, wrapped presents, gone running, put up Christmas lights, spent time with Drew's family, watched the Macy's Parade, made delicious food, and have enjoyed the beautiful weather!

We bought a new moose this year to add to the decorations.

Emmy enjoyed the beautiful weather in her stroller!

Out for a 4 mile run!

The girls all bundled in their new jogger.

Holiday Parade

Yesterday, Drew took Keelin and Emmy to the Evansville Holiday Parade!! Keelin loved getting tons of candy and seeing Santa Claus! Emmy slept through the whole parade...including the sirens from all the emergency vehicles!!!! and gun salutes!!!

I did not attend the parade because I went to see "New Moon" with a group of my friends!! The movie was great!! Can't wait for "Eclipse" in June!!!

Indy Trip

All 4 of us were suppose to go to Indianapolis last weekend (11-14-09) but Drew ended up going out to Colorado Springs, so I decided to take the girls to Indy by myself. My friend, Jamie, flew in from Denver for the weekend to see the new babies.

Updates

Emmy had her 2 month check-up today. She is definitely growing!!! She is now 10 lbs 8 ounces (50th percentile) and 22.5 inches long (50th percentile). So she has gained almost 4 lbs since her birth and has grown 3 inches.

Drew comes home from Colorado today! Drew and his brother, Clay, went out to Colorado Springs last Friday because their brother, Taylor, was in a bad motorcycle accident last Wednesday on his birthday :( . Taylor has had some surgeries and I believe he was moved out of ICU yesterday. Please keep him in your prayers.

Emmy is 8 Weeks!

Here are some recent pictures I have taken of Emmy. I can't believe she is 8 weeks old today!
She has her 2 month check-up next week which includes shots. I can't wait to see how much she has grown since her birth!
  • Emmy is sleeping 6-7 hours at night now!
  • She started taking a pacifier a week ago!!! THIS IS HUGE!
  • She had a bad rash all over her face for a few days but it has cleared up.
  • She loves her papazon and often sleeps in it at night when she won't lay flat on her back.
  • She hasn't moved into her big crib in the nursery yet. She sleeps in the pack-n-play next to our bed.

If you look closely you can see the rash all over her face.
