Spring Break: St. Louis

We surprised the girls with a stop in St. Louis for the night!  We stayed at a Springhill Suites where the girls were able to swim!  We also watched the Notre Dame Basketball game! And the best part (for the girls) was the trip to the American Girl store before heading back home.

Spring Break: Colorado Springs

We spent Thursday, March 26th and Friday, March 27th in Colorado Springs visiting Taylor, Austin, and Crissy.

 We went hiking at Garden of the Gods on Thursday afternoon with Austin.  Warning: Lots of pictures!

 We went to dinner at Bdubs and shopping at REI.  Thankfully Crissy was able to entertain the girls while Drew and I shopped for hiking backpacks!

 On Friday, we drove up to mile 14 on the Pikes Peak Highway.  There was too much snow for us to reach the summit of Pikes Peak (mile 19). 

Spring Break: Ft. Collins and Golden

 We left the mountains on Wednesday morning and drove to Ft. Collins to see Kristin.  We had great roads to drive on...

 We spent the day with Kristin.  She took us around Colorado State where she is getting her Masters degree.  We went to New Belgium brewery too.

 The girls wrote post cards to family back home!

Wednesday evening we drove down to Golden to stay with Jamie and Troy.  The only picture I have from the evening is of Jamie and I drinking wine!
