My 35th Birthday

Drew had training in California the week of my birthday, but my students and daughters helped make my birthday special!

 The sum of my birthday digits = 8!

 I got flowers at work from Drew and my mother-in-law.

 Keelin decorated my board at school! (Notice her example A gift to me.)

 Lots of coffee came in the mail!

Ball State Gymnastics

We planned to drive to Muncie for the BSU gymnastics meet vs. #1 Florida but freezing rain kept us home.  We streamed the meet from the Ball State sports website for a small fee.  I connected the laptop to our TV and we watched the meet.  It saved us 7hrs of driving but we missed out on visiting with former teammates and coaches.

Epiphany Dinner

Our Holy Spirit crew had their annual Epiphany dinner at Hornville Tavern.  It is always a great time!

Emmy's PreK Hawaiian Party

Emmy had a Hawaiian party at PreK today.

Girl Scout Games

The girls had to create their own game to earn the games badge!  They had a lot of fun creating and playing each others games! I have to say they were quite creative!

New Harmony

I went for a trail run at New Harmony state park today! It was a muddy mess! The mountain biking trails were challenging! I only took one spill!

 

New Years Day

We spent New Year's Day watching football and playing games!

Drew and I spent New Years Eve out with running friends.  It was nice to hang out and visit somewhere other than out on the road in running clothes and sweating!

Saturday night we all went to dinner at Bdubs together.

 Sunday morning Uncle Taylor and Uncle Austin met Drew and Keelin at Tri-State to play tennis and workout.  Keelin loved playing tennis with her Uncle Austin because he played tennis in high school.

 

 Later Sunday afternoon, we all went over to Clay and Jamie's house to watch the Denver Broncos football game.

On Tuesday, everyone came over to our house to watch the Notre Dame bowl game.  We got to spend a lot of time with Taylor and Austin when they were here!

Christmas with Papaw Rick

 Friday morning we spent at home.  The girls started using their new Christmas presents. We also did some shopping in the afternoon.  Later in the afternoon, we went over to Papaw Rick's house to celebrate Christmas.  Drew's brothers, Taylor and Austin, are here for Christmas from Colorado Springs.

 Poor Austin is getting attacked by all his nieces and nephew!

Christmas with Mamaw and Papaw

We had Christmas at Mamaw and Papaw's house later in the afternoon.  We had a big lunch at 1pm and then opened presents together.  We spent most of the afternoon playing Apples to Apples.

 

 Ashlyn and Cooper got a new motorized truck! 

Keelin (and Emmy) was Santa Jenny's helper. She helped pass out presents to everyone. 

Christmas

 When we woke up Christmas morning Emmy discovered the new trampoline in the backyard from Santa.  It was a rainy night.  Santa must have had a fun time delivering that trampoline last night!
The girls found the final note from Jingle and they opened their stocking presents.

 I made a big breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and jam.

 What would be Christmas without a family selfie!

 We opened presents to each other and from family who mailed gifts to us.

 Drew and I are ready to ski this March!

Santa brought the girls a new trampoline since theirs was destroyed during a storm last May.
