Fall Festival

Sunday kid rides at the Fall Festival has been a 7 year tradition for us!

 Emmy won a fish! Yeah...

 We went back to the Fall Festival on Monday to get food and ride the big rides.

Weenie Roast

We went over the Abbie and Brian's house for a weenie roast!  The kids out numbered the adults which always makes for a fun time!

YMCA 1/2 Marathon

Keelin logged 16 miles leading up to this years kids' half marathon.  She wanted to run 25 miles leading up to this race so she would run 26 miles.  This might need to be her goal for next year!

Growing Girls

The girls had their yearly doctor check-ups today.  Look how much they have grown...
Keelin:
2013 Appointment- Height 49in and Weight 51lbs
2014 Appointment- Height 51.5in and Weight 57lbs
Keelin grew 2.5in and gained 6lbs
Emmy:
2013 Appointment- Height 40.5in and Weight 31lbs
2014 Appointment- Height 43.5in and Weight 35.5lbs
Emmy grew 3in and gained 4.5lbs

Keelin seems to be so "grown up" lately.  She wants to be stylish. 

Emmy's 5th Birthday

Emmy turned 5 on Thursday, September 18th.  She had a great day at school.  She opened presents from us and gifts she got in the mail from family.  She chose Gatti town for dinner, so we went there.

 

 On Friday, September 19th, we went over to Papaw Rick's house and celebrated with him.

 Emmy had a Frozen theme at Papaw Rick's house.

 

 On Sunday, September 21st, we had a birthday party at our house for Emmy.  This party was a My Little Pony theme.

 Emmy chose nachos, salad, and watermelon for food.

 Emmy had Rainbow Dash toes and hair!

Picture Day

I took the girls pictures before school in front of our house.

I decided to get digit pictures of the girls this year, so I could print my own.  So their school pictures are below.

 

 

We all went to our 1st Memorial football game of the season tonight.  The tigers were playing Mater Dei.  We did not stay for the whole game, but Memorial lost.

Trail Race and Hawk

I dropped the girls off at Drew's dad's house in Newburgh while I went to run the Full Moon 5K trail race at Angel Mounds.  As I was leaving his driveway, I heard a loud thump on my roof.  I looked up through my sunroof and saw this bird! I polled Facebook and I believe it is a Cooper's Hawk.

I ended up 2nd female in the trail race.  See the full moon above Emmy and I.  This was my first trail race in the dark.  It was fun having to use a head lamp to see where I was going.

Emmy's Elegant Party

 Emmy had an elegant party at school.  She is learning the letter "e".  She wore Keelin's flower girl dress from Jeff and Shauna's wedding.  Keelin wore this same dress for her elegant party. (See here)

Technology...Technology...Technology!!! Emmy is watching a show on Netflix on the iPad and texting on her fake phone! The fake conversation she is having with her friend is cracking me up!
