Keelin’s new sport is tennis. She has been asking to take tennis lessons for a couple years. She brought is up again this winter so I started to do some research. The Evansville Tennis Center (ETC) had a 12 week session starting in 2 weeks. The timing was perfect!! Her lessons go until the end of the school year (end of May).

Aunt Kate turns 30!
We all went to Tin Man for dinner on Fat Tuesday to celebrate Kate’s 30th birthday. Kate brought tons of beads and masks for a fun time.
Happy Birthday, Kate!

Lady Aces Basketball
The girls enjoyed (being on the big screen 8 times during the game) the basketball game!?!?! There were very few kids at the game and they both had Aces t-shirts on so I guess the odds were quite high for them to get some camera time. Plus… they are not shy! They get up and clap or dance during every timeout.
The Aces won too! so… fun all around!

Fun Fest
Keelin and Emmy had a blast running around and playing games at our schools’ Fun Fest. They stayed the WHOLE evening. The girls each won at the cake walk and the candy walk. We won two items from the Chinese auction. (I was over bid on both of my silent auction items.) Sugar sticks, prizes from the prize table, and a 2 liter of Fango were also among their prizes.
Keelin got to wear crazy hair and pajamas to school on Fun Fest day!

Paraffin
This winter has been so tough on the girls and I’s hands! I took out my paraffin machine (which I haven’t used in years!) and the girls had a blast dipping their hands in the wax.
Girl Scouts
We joined the Brownies for a special speaker who talked to the girls about protecting our water. They learned about all the different garbage and chemicals that pollute our water. Keelin was a part of the roll play.
Look at all that pollution!

Weekend Fun
I made another infinity scarf. This time it was Michigan State colors. The yarn was even called Spartans! All you use is your arms to make the scarf.
Keelin and Emmy pulled the dress-up tub downstairs and did a fashion show for us. ssssoooooo many outfits! but here is rock star Emmy (yes… that is a Hornville Tavern tank top!) and Keelin the bride.
More Basketball
During Keelin’s basketball game, Emmy entertained us by watching the Super Bowl on papaw’s phone. She managed to find the NFL app. She kept saying, “Go Broncos!”

Keelin worked one cookie booth this year with Cydney at Archie and Clyde’s restaurant. They sold almost 30 boxes of cookies!
