Christmas at School

Since the Christmas program was cancelled due to weather, Emmy’s preschool performed their Christmas songs on the last day of school before Christmas break.

We had a Cougar Pride assembly in the afternoon and the preschool came over to join in the fun.  Emmy’s class sat right by me.

In 1st grade, Keelin wrote about what Christmas presents she wanted to give people this year.  I had to post this because all her pictures and writing were too precious.  One writing page was not enough!  She had to draw lines on the back and go to a second page.  She had a ton of gift giving to do!

In preschool, Emmy made us a beautiful Christmas tree rug from her hand prints! I love it!

Girl Scouts

We made cookies at our Girl Scout meeting before Christmas! Next up…selling Girl Scout cookies!

Cooper’s 1st Birthday

 

Our nephew and Godson, Cooper, turned 1 on December 12!  We celebrated his birthday on December 15th at Mamaw and Papaw’s house.

Santa and Movies

We took the girls to “Breakfast with Santa” at Holy Spirit.

Since Drew and I got a new TV for the living room, the girls now have a bigger TV in their playroom with all the TV shifting around the house.

And the first movie they are watching on their new TV with the light of their little Christmas tree is… The Grinch.

Ice Skating

I took Keelin ice skating for the first time!  The Swonder ice skating passes I bid on at the Chili Cook-off were put to use on Friday after school.  Jamie, Kyle, and Hannah joined us for some skating fun!  Keelin and Hannah both took some spills on the ice but they both loved skating together.

BIG 10 Championships!

The girls were excited to pick up their Uncle Jeff from the airport.  We were quite surprise that his flight actually came into Evansville after all the freezing rain and snow that fell all day, but he arrived and we were able to drive to Indy on Saturday for the game!

This was my first time in Lucas Oil Stadium! and it was for a Michigan State football game!

Our seats were at the top of the stadium under the box suites.  The fans around us were awesome and it made for a great game and atmosphere!

Michigan State WINS!!!!

I really enjoyed the time with my brother!

Snow Storm

Emmy came to me at 6am on Friday asking to go outside in the snow… (uuummm… I was still sleeping and it was only freezing rain at the time!)

We got around 10 inches of snow on Friday!  We were off school for 3 days (Friday, Monday, and Tuesday)!  We even had a 2 hour delay on Wednesday.  The girls were so excited to go play in the snow.
