Chili Cook-off

I took part in the Holy Spirit Chili cook-off again this year.  I made the chili  for the Girl Scouts’ booth.  I used Velvet’s recipe which tied us for 2nd place!  I was also supporting the Holy Spirit Faculty chili which was the booth right next to us.  We all had a fun time!

I bid on many items in the silent and live auction!  Buckets of golf balls at a driving range, UE women’s basketball tickets, ice skating passes to Swonder, and tennis, personal training, and membership to Tri-State Athletic Club!  Do we sound like a sports family?

Fall Pictures and Mowing

Drew taught Keelin how to mow the lawn!  She tried and tried and tried to start the mower by herself but she needed her daddy’s help.

Since it was a beautiful Fall day, I took some pictures of the girls next to our neighbor’s tree.  I loved the red and orange leaves.

Girl Scouts

Keelin is a Girl Scout Daisy again this year.  Jamie and I are the 1st grade Daisy leaders this year.  The group of girls is smaller, so we are getting quite messy.  We have done paper mache to make a bird bath and the girls make bird nests with brown bags and a variety of materials to decorate them.

The girls getting crafty!

Evansville Iceman’s Hockey Game

Drew’s work had an outing to the Evansville Iceman’s game.  The girls got pink hockey jerseys!

We got to go out on the ice after the game to shoot a puck!!!

Indianapolis Monumental

Drew ran the Indy Monumental Half Marathon on Saturday.
Dinner at California Pizza Kitchen

Fun at the circle while waiting for Drew to finish his race.

Drew ran a new PR 1:40:13 (the race clock is clock time, not chip time)
