Back to School!

School started today!

Emmy Jane started preschool and Keelin started 1st grade!

Enjoying the end of Summer

 

We took the girls for another 12 mile bike ride and picnic!

 Emmy helped mamaw and papaw plant carrots in the spring, so they brought Emmy a little carrot from the garden.

 running!  Emmy joined me for a run!  She ran a little over a half mile in 8 minutes.

Camping in the Yard

We put the tent up in the backyard to see how the girls would handle camping.  It was a trial run!

Drew and I got this tent as a wedding gift and we were a little worried we all might not fit!

 

 ...but we all squished in!

We built a fire!  (that's like camping!)
We brought the little TV and DVD player outside to watch a movie! (that's NOT like camping!)

 We all watched "Shrek" and enjoyed some popcorn.

The girls did an awesome job sleeping in the tent.  Emmy kept rolling off the air mattress under my cot.  I woke up many times to rescue her!  Finally, I just pulled her onto my cot with me!  She is still a wild one while she sleeps!

Golf and North Pool

 We took Keelin golfing at the Legends Walk, which is a par 3 course.

 Her daddy bought her a golf shirt after our round of golf.  She is now officially a golfer!


This trip to the north village pool was very different than 2 days ago!  It was our last day in Florida and I think the week really wore out the girls!  Both of them fell asleep!

Condo Fun!

 The girls were playing with their new Rapunzel tower while watching "Tangled"!

 The hallway became a running raceway of fun!
