Picking Strawberries with Emmy

I took Emmy to pick strawberries at Maze Farm.  I was a little nervous because I took her to pick strawberries in Michigan last summer and it did not go very well!

 

 

 Rules!  I made sure Emmy was very much aware of ALL the rules before we began!

 Notice her head band?  She was very adamant on wearing this to pick strawberries.  She said she was a bee.  This was a battle I chose not to fight!

 Emmy did a great job!  Look at all those strawberries!

 Picking strawberries is exhausting! Emmy was fast asleep in the car on the way home!

A strawberry pie is one of the things I made with the strawberries!

Ashlyn and Cooper

On Saturday, May 25th we watched our niece, Ashlyn, and nephew, Cooper.

 

 Ashlyn enjoyed the trampoline for the first time!

 Drew decided to venture outside and stain the fence... leaving me alone inside with 4 children!

Emmy's Last Day of Daycare

Emmy has spent the last 3 years going to Granny Karen's for daycare.  It has been her second home.  Friday, May 24 was Emmy's last official day.  We brought watermelon for snack in the afternoon because that is Emmy's favorite snack!

Keelin's Last Day of Kindergarten

Keelin's Field Day

Tuesday, May 21 was Keelin's first Field Day!  She had a great time!

 

She was the runner for this game!  She had to run back and forth the whole game to get the cups to the front of the line.

 

 

Mother's Day

Keelin's Gymnastics

Keelin started gymnastics at Revolution at the end of January.  She spent 6 classes at gym 1 and then they moved her up to gym 2.  She did gymnastics once a week for an hour.  She stopped gymnastics classes at the end of April. 

 

Cooper's Baptism

Our nephew, Cooper, was baptized on Sunday, April 21st.

 We went to 10:30 Mass at St. Ben's and he was baptized shortly after the Mass.  We all went over to Jamie's mom's house afterwards for a celebration party.

 Drew and I are his Godparents.

Keelin's 2 Tooth

Keelin lost her 2nd tooth at Emmy's soccer practice.  It was not ready to come out!  She was eating a soft pretzel which caught her loose tooth and pulled it right out. It left a nice crater in her mouth!
