Las Vegas
We spent Monday and Tuesday exploring Las Vegas. This was Drew's first trip to Vegas. During the day we pretty much walked up and down the strip, walking in and out of the different hotel/casinos. I was so proud of Emmy! She walked everywhere!
After two days in Vegas, we asked the girls "What was your favorite thing in Las Vegas?"
Emmy's response was the yogurt smoothie she got in the Venetian at the Haagen Dazs Smoothie Bar.
Keelin's response was the fountains at the Bellagio.
We walked down to Mandalay Bay to see the sharks, but the line was soooooo long! We ate lunch there instead.
The girls would not let us walk by the m&m store without going in!
We also played a few slot machines and went to a sports book.

Hoover Dam
On Monday, we headed to Las Vegas for 3 days. We stopped at the Hoover Dam on our way.
We walked out on the new bridge that was built over the dam. This first sight of the dam was breathtaking!
Don't look down!

Phoenix Zoo
On Sunday, March 24th, we planned to go to a preseason baseball game but when we arrived at the field, the tickets were all sold out. Fortunately for the girls, the Phoenix Zoo was less than a mile away. Change of plans!
Keelin was very skittish around the goats! Emmy on the other hand brushed every single goat in the petting area. I think I had pictures of Emmy with 7 different goats!
Keelin with her Aunt Shauna.
Emmy had to roar at the tiger!

Spring Break in Phoenix
Saturday, March 23, We flew to Phoenix, AZ for spring break. We stayed with my parents at their home in Pebble Creek in Goodyear, AZ. We also saw my brother, Jeff, and his wife, Shauna, and Drew's sister, Kristin.
Here are some random pictures from the week.
The girls also spent time at both pools. They were able to swim in the big pools (not just the kiddie pool) because it was considered "holiday" time. Kids can use the big pools during special hours during the day.
Keelin enjoyed going line dancing with my mom. She picked up the dances very quickly and the "older folks" just loved her.
My brother invited us out for dinner and basketball. Our family's attire went great with their cornhole game. The girls and I were cheering for MSU basketball that evening (which is where my brother went to school) and Drew just happened to be wearing his Berkley t-shirt (which is where Shauna went to school.)
