Evansville Half Marathon

Drew ran in the Evansville Half Marathon Sunday morning. I got the girls up and dressed warm to go down to see Drew run in the race.

Keelin and I ready to go!

Keelin was not very patient waiting along 3rd street downtown Evansville!
She kept saying, "I want to see daddy running!"

It was cold! Emmy was bundled on her side of the jogging stroller!

Drew was excited to see us when he came around the corner at mile 8.

We moved down to the river front to watch Drew finish the race.
Keelin enjoyed some breakfast here...so she was a little more patient!

Drew coming down the river front at the end of the race.
He finished in 1 hour 45 minutes! A new PR for him!

Fall Festival!

Drew and I took Keelin and Emmy down to the Fall Festival yesterday so Keelin could ride the kiddie rides. We met their mamaw and papaw down there. Keelin loved riding the rides and playing games!

It's a winner!! Keelin picked out Dora!

She also came home with 2 more stuffed toys and a goldfish!

Needless to say...Keelin had fun!
We plan to go back tonight to eat some of the yummy food!

A Trip to Mayse Pumpkin Patch

Today we took the girls to Mayse Pumpkin Patch to pick out pumpkins for Halloween! We ended up getting 4 pumpkins (one for each of us!). A large pumpkin to carve, a medium pumpkin, and 2 small pumpkins! After we left Mayse, we went to Target to get Keelin's Halloween costume! She is going to be Cinderella! (surprise...surprise!)

Keelin is trying to find the perfect pumpkin!

A little too heavy!

Day or Night?

Emmy is really fussy in the evenings! She fusses from around dinner time to about midnight. She wants to eat every couple hours at night. During the day she sleeps like a charm! Often going 4-5 hours in the mid of the afternoon between feedings. Our days are her nights! I need to work on getting her switched around!!
A stare down with the duck!

Zoo

Drew took a couple days off work to help me get use to both girls after my parents left. We spent one day at the park and the next day at the zoo. We went out to lunch both days! Emmy had a doctor's appointment. She has bypassed her birth weight and now weighs in at 6 pounds, 14 ounces! Keelin loved getting to run around and play! Drew went back to work today so now it is the 3 of us girls at home. Here are pictures from the zoo!

Keelin thought it was funny to cover her daddy's eyes while he carried her on his shoulders!

Pumpkin Bread

While my parents were here Keelin was very busy helping everyone in anyway she could! I thought pumpkin bread sounded good so my mom, Keelin, and I made some. She was very proud of herself!!

It's ready to bake!
